Thuto Afterschool Care HIV/AIDS Policy

1. Introduction

Thuto Afterschool Care recognizes the significant impact of HIV/AIDS on individuals, families, and communities. As an organization dedicated to the well-being of children and youth, we are committed to promoting awareness, prevention, and support related to HIV/AIDS.

2. Objectives

  • To raise awareness about HIV/AIDS and reduce stigma associated with the virus.
  • To provide education and resources for HIV/AIDS prevention among staff, volunteers, students, and their families.
  • To support individuals affected by HIV/AIDS within our community.
  • To create a safe and inclusive environment that respects the rights and dignity of all individuals regardless of their HIV status.

3. Prevention and Education

  • Thuto Afterschool Care will provide comprehensive HIV/AIDS education and prevention programs for students, staff, and volunteers.
  • Educational materials and resources on HIV/AIDS prevention, transmission, testing, and treatment will be made available and regularly updated.
