Thuto Afterschool Care Celebrates One Year of Empowering Education and Announces Partnership with Local Libraries

Botshabelo, March 30th 2024 – Thuto Afterschool Care is thrilled to announce the celebration of its first anniversary, marking one year of dedicated service in empowering young learners and fostering academic excellence in our community. Since our inception, we have been committed to providing comprehensive afterschool care and academic support to students from lower grades, helping them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

As we reflect on our journey over the past year, we are filled with gratitude for the unwavering support of our dedicated team, volunteers, partners, and the community at large. Together, we have made a tangible impact on the lives of countless children, providing them with the tools and resources they need to succeed in school and beyond.

To commemorate this milestone, Thuto Afterschool Care will be hosting a special anniversary celebration on August 22 at Botshabelo Library. The event will feature interactive activities, performances by our talented students, and testimonials from families whose lives have been positively impacted by our programs.

In addition to our anniversary celebration, Thuto Afterschool Care is excited to announce a new partnership with local libraries aimed at expanding access to educational resources and support for young learners in our community. By working closely with Botshabelo Library and LoveLife Center, we will provide additional tutoring services, homework assistance, and enrichment activities to students from lower grades.

The partnership comes at a critical time when many students are in need of extra academic support and resources to succeed in school. By leveraging the resources and expertise of both organizations, we aim to create a more holistic and accessible learning environment for students, regardless of their background or circumstances.

Through this partnership, Thuto Afterschool Care will be able to reach more students and provide them with the support they need to thrive in school and beyond. By working together with local libraries, we can ensure that every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential and achieve success.
